Confused about what to do when you leave school?

The Mt Roskill Grammar Career Department provides assistance, knowledge and resources about options available beyond the school gates.

The Career Department, located next to Student Services, is open throughout the day and all students are welcome.

In the department we have a wide range of resources, including information from tertiary providers, the New Zealand Police, the Defence Forces and apprenticeship organisations.

There are a number of career folders containing profiles and other information on careers of interest to students, in areas such as Health, Humanities, Law, Engineering, Communication and Sport. Students are welcome to browse through this information to research career ideas to help with their career decision making.

We also offer access to Career Quest, a computer based career questionnaire that helps students think about career options. This is best done with one of the Career Department staff.
