Weebly is an easy, powerful and affordable website-building platform used globally by 12 million people and businesses.  It is a drag & drop website builder which makes it very simple to create a powerful, professional webiste without any technical skills required. In this course you will learn how to sign up for a free Weebly account, create a simple website, add content and publish the website live to the internet.  Some basic understanding of computers needed.

Computer Repairs and Maintenance: An Introduction

This course will give you an introduction to computer maintenance and repair.  Learn all the components of a computer, how to make a new computer, and how to maintain a computer.  Lessons contain demonstration and hands-on practise.  Course will focus on PCs (not Macs).

Computer Repairs and Maintenace: Advanced

  • Time: 7-9pm
  • Term 1: no class
  • Term 2: starts Monday 17 June 2013
  • Held every Monday for 4 weeks
  • Fee: $70

This course will focus on more involved fault finding.  Course will cover: what to do when a computer dies, how to replace computer components, laptop repair, how to remove components and how to replace a broken screen.  Lessons contain demonstration and hands-on practise.  Course will focus on PCs.

GST Returns and Small Business Taxation

  • Tutor: Inland Revenue Department
  • Time: 7-9pm
  • Term 1: starts Wednesday 13 February 2013
  • Term 2: starts Wednesday 15 May 2013
  • Held every Wednesday for 3 weeks
  • Fee: $30 for 3 weeks

A useful course for the small business owner.  The course covers income tax, GST and provisional tax.

MYOB Computerised Accounting - an Introduction

  • Tutor: Kishan Raj / Ashmeeta Kumar
  • Time: 9am-4.30pm

  • Duration: Held on Saturday for 2 weeks

Course includes how to record all business transactions and then access all financial reports which include receivable/payable, GST, stock, bank reconciliation, profit and loss and balance sheets.   Some basic computer and accounting skills are required for this course.  Please bring your own lunch.
