Dressmaking/ Machining

Create your own fashion. This course is especially designed to help you learn the basics of sewing. Please bring fabric and a pattern, along with scissors, pins, thread etc on the first night.

Come along to a friendly class and learn from Sandra,  a florist with over 30 years experience, how to make arrangements for home and hand tied bouquets using fresh flowers.  You will be amazed at what you can achieve!  A friendly, welcoming class.

Painting with oils

Ron will  demonstrate methods that he has used over a 30 year career.  Students will follow his lead.  Learn from a master of his craft.  A thoroughly enjoyable class.  You will be amazed at what you can achieve!

Come and learn to frame your own work or that picture you have been going to frame for years. Materials can be bought at cost from the tutor. Bring an item on the night to frame.

Portrait Painting using Acrylic Paints - New Class!!!!

Learn from experienced portrait artist and illustrator James Wakelin the techniques to create your own life-like portraits.

 Woodwork and Furniture Restoration

A class for beginners to learn the basics of woodworking. Make small projects of your own. This class will also cover furniture restoration. Work at your own pace. Please remember that no recycled timber is to be used as it may damage school equipment.

Work on your own project under Paul's guidance and teaching.  All equipment is supplied.  If you know what you would like to make in the class please bring along your wood on the first night - otherwise come and talk to Paul and he will help and advise you.  A hands-on, practical class.
