Ayurveda is a holistic system of health, which focuses particularly on diet as key to helping people live long and healthy lives. This course will introduce you to some of the core principles of Ayurveda and help you to create an individualised dietary programme which you can incorporate into your daily lifestyle.

Cafe Cooking

Gain some new meal ideas for home and entertaining. This course covers a range of classic cafe dishes. The Chef will also show you professional tips and tricks to help take your cooking to the next level.  

Cooking with Kids

Help your child discover their inner Master Chef! In this fun class, parents/caregivers and children will work together to cook delicious sweet and savoury dishes that they will be able to recreate later on at home.  Fee is for one adult and up to two children.  Children must be a minimum age of 9 years old.  Fee includes all ingredients for the course

French Cafe Cuisine

Learn how to create some of the flavours of France! Start with the basics and move onto more creative cooking. Tutor is a French and a qualified chef who operates her own cafe.

Indian Cooking: An Introduction

Learn to cook mouth watering Indian finger foods and curries well known for their aroma, spices and taste.

Malaysian Cooking

With Malay, Chinese and Indian influences, Malaysian cusine is well known for its range of flavours and spices.  In this course, Chef Eddie Tan will teach you how to cook a variety of Malaysian dishes including appetisers, soups, curries and mains.

Mediterranean Cooking

  • Held every Tuesday for 4 weeks

This class invites you to travel to Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Greece, Turkey and Egypt.  In each class you will prepare two or three classic or favourite dishes from some of these countries.  Recipes will include lamb tagine, fettuccine alla pizzaiola, moussaka, cheese pastries (borek), couscous, yufkali pilaf, foccacia and more.  You will learn new techniques and be introduced to exotic spices.

 

Middle Eastern Cooking

Pastry and Bread

Make delicious sweet and savoury recipes for breakfast, brunch and coffee time. Learn tips on how to work with both ready made and home made pastry.  Get creative as you fold, mould, stuff, twist, plait and roll it.  You will also learn how to make different types of bread, such as Turkish, pita and foccaccia.

Thai Cooking

Learn how to prepare delicious sweet and spicy Thai Dishes in this popular class.  Bring your own ingredients weekly - enrolled students will be sent a list of ingredients to bring on the first night.
