EXCEL is a tertiary institution (www.excel.ac.nz) based in Auckland. Since 1994 they have been committed to training and developing performing artists. Selected second year students from EXCEL tour around New Zealand as a practical component in their Certificate of Advanced Performance. On 7 Aug, EXCEL performed a lunchtime concert at MRGS titled “Is This Me?” The show looked at the common social media apps that tell stories about who we are, and asks, “Is This Me”? It was a rousing and educational concert enjoyed by all in Butler Hall.
