At the end of the term, the Roskill whānau donated over 300 cans to the Salvation Army as part of the Can Drive project. The aim of this Drive was to give back and support our community in this tough time.
Many families have been heavily affected by COVID 19 and now rely on food parcels from the Salvation Army.
As a Roskill whānau, we wanted to do our part to support them so over the final weeks of Term 2 we put out a call for donations. We want to thank those students, teachers and families who donated cans, for their generosity.
The crew at the Salvation Army was so grateful for the cans donated by MRGS and let us know that the cans will bless so many families!
