Health Clinic

The MRGS Health Clinic is staffed by four part-time nurses, and a part-time doctor, physiotherapist and psychologist.

Between us, we have over 70 years’ experience in health and can offer your child a holistic and competent approach to their care. Our clinic facilities provide adequate privacy for students with four consultation rooms, a treatment room and rest space. We work towards supporting students to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.

How to make an appointment

Appointments are walk-in only, and can be made by visiting Student Services and speaking to our friendly receptionist.

Nursing

Using the ‘Te Whare Tapa Wha’ model of care our skilled nurses work in a holistic and youth focused manner. We work in partnership with our students and the wider school community to ensure that everyone is able to easily access free and comprehensive healthcare.

Doctor

A full range of medical care is provided by our school doctor onsite twice a week. Students are able to book their own appointments or can be referred by the nurses.

Physiotherapy

For physical injury and rehabilitation support, our onsite physiotherapist is available three mornings a week.

Psychologist

A visiting psychologist works with students on an individual basis once a week. A collaborative approach is used to promote psychological wellbeing.
