In-Zone and Out-of-Zone Enrolments for 2027 are now open!

For In-Zone applications: 

The school welcomes in-zone applications for 2027 for all year levels.

 1. Please check that your current address is in-zone by clicking here for a list of in-zone street addresses.
If your street is not listed on the in-zone street address list, then you must apply using an ‘Out-of-Zone’ application form.

2.  Hard copy application forms are available here or from the school office. Application Forms will also be delivered to some local intermediate schools. Alternatively, you can apply online by clicking the button below.

3. Documents Required for all in-zone applicants:

• NZ Citizens: An original or certified copy of the student’s Birth Certificate
  Other Citizens: The student’s Birth Certificate and current visa
• Copy of the latest school report
• Two forms of proof of residential address
  (A) Rates Account or Tenancy Agreement
  (B) One document showing the parent’s/caregiver’s name and address. This must be the address where the student lives.
  *Examples of these documents are a power bill, water bill, phone/internet bill.
• Student Health Record (Please complete the Google Form)
• Statutory Declaration (Download and complete. This must be signed by a Justice of the Peace)
• Digital Citizenship Agreement (Please read before completing your application)

For Out-of-Zone applications:

2026 Out-of-Zone applications are closed. If you wish to be a 2027 Out-of-Zone applicant, please apply below.

If you live out of zone and want to enrol a new student for 2027, you must do this by Wednesday, 2 September 2026. The closing date applies to all out-of-zone families, even if you have a child at MRGS now, or had a child who used to come here, or you are a parent who went to MRGS.

Out-of-zone applications received after 4.00pm on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 will be considered late and will not be included in the ballot.

The ballot day is Wednesday 9 September. You will be notified by email of the results.
