Thank you for considering Mount Roskill Grammar School.
Mt Roskill Grammar School is an excellent choice of school for International students. We are known for high academic standards, offer a variety of musical, sporting and academic opportunities and have a multicultural campus that is welcoming and friendly to students of all cultures. We have an established International Students’ department and are experienced at helping you settle into a new life in New Zealand. I will introduce you to a buddy who speaks your language and I am available for you to ask questions about courses and programmes in the school.
Fee-paying students have come to study at our school from countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Tonga, Fiji, Sweden and Germany.
The Tuition fee for 2010 is $14,500. This includes ESL lessons if required. Homestay costs $220 per week for 46 weeks per year. Other costs include insurance, $490; uniform, around $500; NCEA examinations, $375; and pocket money. Some courses have an additional cost.
