Teacher in Charge: Christine Brown

Teams: Students compete as individuals. Open to all year levels.

Competition: Students compete in home and away series for the season. Orienteering Central Zone Series starts Wednesday 19 February 2020. Any student that meets the qualification criteria is eligible to compete in various competitions throughout the season.

Orienteering Sprint Finals: Sunday 29 March 2020. (AUT North Campus/ Rangitoto College)

Orienteering Individual Championships: Thursday 7 May 2020. (Woodhill Forest)

Orienteering Rogaine Championships: Tuesday 8 September 2020. (Totara Park)

Orienteering North Island Secondary Schools Relay Championships: Sunday 27 September 2020. (Waiuku Farms)

Training: Fitness training is to be maintained during students’ own time over the summer holidays in preparation for the start of the Orienteering season.

Equipment: Orienteering singlet and basic Orienteering equipment provided. Students are required to bring their own black shorts and running shoes during events.
