A big congratulations to Jeremiah Williams who has been selected to represent the Cook Islands Football Association at the OFC U19 Men’s Championship – Qualifying tournament in Vanuatu this April.

He has committed a considerable amount of time and effort to the preparation and has shown valuable abilities and skills in the sport.

We wish him the best of luck!

Our Kapa Haka group delivered a moving performance at Polyfest this afternoon.

We were proud to see our MRGS students give their all on stage, surrounded by cheers and support from whānau, friends, teaching staff, and Mount Roskill Primary students.

Mentoring 1 sessions are underway ☺️

This is a valuable time to establish our 2024 partnership with whānau to set goals with our year 11-13 students.

We still have two mentoring sessions this year:
Mentoring 2: Thursday 20th June (T2, Week 8)
Mentoring 3: Thursday 17th Oct (T4, Week 1)

We are seeking someone who has a passion for youth sport and is keen to create, direct and manage sport at Mount Roskill Grammar School.

Our successful applicant must be energetic, have excellent administrative, management and interpersonal skills, be a great communicator and have a passion for working with youth.

Your responsibilities will include.
• Improving the profile of sport, within the school and the community
• Increase participation and quality of student sports involvement.
• Lead a team of teaching staff, coaches and volunteers to develop sporting excellence.
• Organise and manage weekend and after school sports.
• Manage the sports department budgets.
• Promote school facilities including the Hockey turf.

This is a permanent full-time position with variable hours to meet the demands of the position including weekend and evening work as required.
