For the first time in over six years a Mount Roskill Grammar School Debating team will be competing in the Auckland Schools Debating Octo-finals. Team MRGS 1 has qualified for the finals after going a perfect 4-0 in the Advanced Open grade. They have defeated teams from St Cuthberts, Sacred Heart College, Macleans and Kings College.
