Teacher in Charge: Sports Department
Teams: Lawn Bowls is a minor sport that encourages new people to try out and then move onto clubs to further their development. Paris Baker (current Year 13 student) won the National Under 18 Singles title in 2016. See this link for Paris Baker in the New Zealand Herald, 27th March 2016.
Competition: Introductory Bowls Competition in Term 1. If you have bowled previously you can enter the Singles/Doubles competitions in Term 2 and 3.
Equipment: Provided at Introductory Bowls Competition.
Registrations: Keep an eye on the Sports Notices in Term 1.
Costs: $10-15 to cover entry fees and transport to and from the venue.
