Pukekohe Sports Exchange

Pukekohe Exchange ‼️ 2/2 ✅

Our exchange with Pukekohe High School has been long awaited. After some good wins under our belt against Mahurangi College, our students were ready to take on the challenge from Pukekohe High and they did not disappoint!

After some tight wins and a close loss, we managed to take home the win overall 🎉🎉
This is a great achievement by all coaches, managers and students and we can definitely see the mahi paying off 👀

A massive thank you to @pukekohehighschool_ for making the travel up to Roskill. We hope you felt welcomed and challenged and we cannot wait for the exchange next year.

“Sawm” – fasting – is one of the five pillars of Islam, the foundations of this faith.

Auckland Writers Festival 150 150 Simon Whitlock

Auckland Writers Festival

The English department will be taking 100 students to the Auckland Writers Festival on Wednesday, May 12th. There will be a livestream from Angie Thomas, author of The Hate U Give and Concrete Rose, and talks from Karlo Mila, Chloe Gong and Dan Salmon. Twenty lucky students will also have the opportunity to participate in writing workshops run by Bernard Beckett, Catherine Chidgey, Dominic Hoey and Lil O’Brien. The event will be held in the Aotea Centre. Tickets are $16. Workshops are an additional $15. Please see your English teacher for details.

Annual Mahurangi Sports Exchange

We kicked off our sports exchange with a long bus drive to Mahurangi College and once we arrived, we were ready for the day ahead.

The weather provided beautiful ☀️☀️ for all our outdoor sports and although many of our teams were rusty, we managed to regain possession of the Annual Sports Exchange Trophy 🎉 🎉

A big thank you to all the staff, supporters and students for all the hard work you have put into making this exchange possible. We thank Mahurangi college for your exceptional hospitality in making sure both our students and staff were well looked after. We look forward to next year and as we all know- the comeback is always stronger than the setback 🏆
